Holden Beach NC real estateDays at the Docks is the Holden Beach way to kick off Spring and start the vacation season. This event is held April 27 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. under the bridge at Holden Beach, NC. Over 30 arts & crafts vendors and a dozen food vendors set up for a full day of fun. In addition to the food and crafts, enjoy live music and entertainment, a king mackerel fishing tournament, a horseshoe tournament and the world famous "Bopple Race" will be held. Come out and enjoy Wine Fest 2013 at the Museum of Coastal Carolina, Ocean Isle Beach on Saturday, April 27. The event lasts from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join us for a fun evening of food, live and silent auctions, and many delectable wines to taste. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased now at any of these locations: Ingram Planetarium, Museum of Coastal Carolina, Sunset River Marketplace, and Victoria’s Ragpatch (Ocean Isle location only). Your ticket purchase will help support two great local facilities, the Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach and Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach.

Holden Beach NC real estateIn conjunction with Wine Fest 2013, the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation and the Ocean Isle Beach Chapter of the American Wine Society are sponsoring an Amateur Wine Competition. Enter your wine for a chance to win gold, silver, or bronze medals in various categories. Your wine must be at the Museum of Coastal Carolina by April 17, 2013.

The image shown (left) is a new acrylic work by Sunset Beach artist Liz Roberts that has been selected for promoting the festival. Roberts’ bold and colorful art is inspired by her world travels, interesting music, dance, and the beauty of coastal Carolina. You will see this painting on Wine Fest posters and billboards. The original painting will be auctioned off at a live auction during the festival.
