Don’t Miss the 2020 Holden Beach Concert Series

The Holden Beach Concert Series has been going on for years, and it’s where you and the family can go listen to live music for free. They will be on every Sunday evening beginning at 6:30 pm and ending at 8:00 pm. Every week the concerts will be held at the Pavilion that is under the Holden Beach bridge. There will be refreshments for you and your family to purchase, so be sure to bring some cash with you. When it’s time to head out to the concert, bring your beach chairs or towels to sit on as you listen and dance together!

This event is hosted by the Bald Head Island Conservancy, which is excited that they are returning this year. The 5K will begin at 8:30 am, and there will be several different age brackets to join, so everyone in the family can join in. Be sure to grab your tickets to the event today to guarantee your spot and receive that famous turtle trot shirt & sea turtle medal.

Southport Easter Egg Hunt

Another great event that you and your family can join for Easter is the Southpoint Easter Egg Hunt. This event is on Saturday, April 1st starting at 10:00 am at Franklin Square Park, and this year don’t forget your baskets. This family-fun event is perfect for the kids to hunt eggs with over 1000 along with candy that will be scattered around. Think of the fun the kids will have as you make new memories with this fun event.

Can you believe that the 4th of July is just around the corner? And we know that you must be getting excited to spend time at the beach. NC 4th of July Festival & Fireworks

The NC 4th of July Festival & Fireworks are typically held in Southport, NC, but many of the events will be happening on Oak Island this year. Start the 4-day festival head on over to Oak Island to celebrate their Beach Day on July 1st. This will include a full day of games, food, and entertainment that begins at 8:00 am. Fireworks will start at 9:00 pm over at the Oak Island Pier, where everyone will be able to social distance. On Saturday and Sunday, you can experience the Red, White & Blue Car Show, a tradition for many to attend, and many other things that day. The Fireworks display will conclude a wonderful Holliday weekend from the Oak Island pier and be seen for miles, and you don’t want to miss that.

Ocean Isle Beach 4th of July Parade

Another fun event that is happening nearby is the 4th of July Parade at nearby Ocean Isle Beach. Beginning at 3:00 pm, you’ll be able to see the fun decorated golf carts, cars, bikes, and more head down past the Coastal Museum and down 2nd Street. This is a tradition that many families love to sit back and watch. The Ocean Isle Beach fireworks display on July 6th this year. This is a free event that your family can attend and think of the fun you’ll have to spend with the ones you love.

If you are looking for a fun day that you can spend time with your family in the area, head on over to the NC Azalea Festival in Wilmington.
