Make Memories with Your Family this Spring in Holden BeachThe Ingram Planetarium Spring Break Laser Music Shows take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 21 through March 23. The show schedule is 5 p.m. Laser Country, 6 p.m. Led Zeppelin, and 7 p.m. Laseropolis. The music shows are free for members. Non-member per-show admission is $8 adults, $7 seniors, $6 children, free for ages 2 and under. Ingram Planetarium is located at 7625 High Market St, Sunset Beach.

Family Day at Museum of Coastal Carolina is held on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event features free and low cost crafts, games and activities for the entire family. Held in the parking area and also inside the Museum of Coastal Carolina. Regular museum admission is waived during Family Day. Visitors can take the opportunity to tour the museum’s many themed galleries and touch tank with free museum admission for the day. For more information call 910-579-1016.

The popular Days at the Docks Festival is held every year in Holden Beach on Jordan Blvd. beneath the Holden Beach Bridge. This year it takes place on April 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s a great way to kick off Spring and it’s traditionally the start of the vacation season for this area. There will be over 30 arts & crafts vendors and a dozen food vendors set up for a day of fun. There will also be live music and entertainment, a horseshoe tournament and the world famous “Bopple Race”. You can count on plenty of activities for the entire family!

?Nearby Silver Coast Winery in the Sunset Beach/Ocean Isle Beach area of North Carolina is holding a Strawberry & Wine Festival on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 12 noon until 6 p.m. Come out and enjoy a full day of wine, food, entertainment, and craft vendors. Entertainment will be provided by The Imitations. Strawberries are the main fare of the day — chocolate covered, in short cake or floating in a glass of wine. As you stroll among the vendors you’ll find authors, artists, and crafts galore. 6680 Barbeque Rd., Ocean Isle Beach.
